Weave Still Got This!
Young Stitchers had a relaxing afternoon of weaving on Saturday, 23rd September.
We sent out weaving kits during Lockdown – with the theme Weave Got This – and it was popular. So we did it again, this time a hanging onto drift wood. We used card from a well-known craft shop, prepared it with its warp, and used lolly sticks to weave and use to make a shed to weave through – there were Rya knots and the basic pattern of the under, over /over, under Tabby Weaving – with handouts to continue at home.
They all did a wonderful job!
