Stories lie at the very heart of my textile practice. I often say that I am more interested in ‘why’ a textile piece is made than ‘how’ it is made! In this talk I’ll explain why mind maps (or Threads of Thought as I call them) are important to me and tell the stories behind some of my favourite pieces of work.
